Loose Ends chp 7: What She'd Left Unsaid
The next morning Aine and Ashling awoke to find Aoife slumped over her desk, fast asleep face down in her homework. Aine got up and walked over to gently nudge Aoife's shoulder. Stirring in her sleep, Aoife murmured "I'm coming to bed," and opened her eyes glancing blearily up at Aine. Ashling commented acerbically from across the room, "Too late for that, sleepyhead, it's time for breakfast." "Huh? Bre...?" Aoife blinked, then turned to look out the window at the morning sky, her face falling. "Aw man, morning already? I just rested my eyes for a minute after finishing." With an indulgent smile, Aine rubbed Aoife's back and said, "Well, it looks like that's all the rest you're getting today. Come on and get ready or you'll have to get through class with no sleep or food."
